We have used this experience and knowledge to create a complete bolt-in “plug and play” conversion kit for the Land Rover Defender. We have taken the original Defender and dragged it into the 21st Century with a powerful electric drivetrain and battery pack, transforming an ICE relic whist maintaining and improving the performance both on and off-road. The powerful motor drives front and rear prop-shafts directly giving permanent 4WD, no need for low or high ratio due to the huge torque from zero revs. All this means much easier off-road driving, just two pedals. The big battery pack gives a range of up to 170 miles*, coupled with rapid charging means you can be back under way in under an hour. Kit suitable for left and right-hand drive. Optional extras include air conditioning.
