To say we were impressed with this tool is an understatement. We cut through 16mm² battery cable with this tool like a knife through butter leaving a neater cut than many wire cutt ers. It claims to be able to cut through 70mm² cable, but as we don't use anything thicker than 16mm² on bikes we didn't try it on anything heavier. The scissor part of the cutter slices through every type of sleeving we use and stock effortlessly. The tool claims to be able to crimp, and we were surprised to discover that, with a bit of care, it will crimp 1mm² and 2mm² tube type butt connectors. The cable cutter part can also be used to carefully cut through the insulation on a battery cable. Show more
