The Electro-Harmonix Adrian Belew Echoflanger is a limited-edition analog modulation pedal inspired by Adrian Belew’s vintage EHX Echoflanger. Originally used by Belew to create some of his most distinctive sounds, the Echoflanger goes far beyond conventional chorus and flanger effects, offering everything from lush, shimmering modulation to warped, unstable and self-oscillating textures. The pedal features six modes, including the original Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus and Slap Back settings, along with two expanded combinations: Slap Back + Filter Matrix and Adrian Belew’s signature Chorus + Flange setting. The Filter Matrix mode disengages the LFO to create a fixed comb filter for chime-like tones and manual flanging, while the Flange mode delivers sweeping comb-filter modulation. Chorus provides thick, shimmering modulation, and Slap Back creates a short, unmodulated echo.
