The pedal's topology emphasises odd–order harmonics, generating a thick, woolly texture that sits forward in dense mixes without becoming mushy. True bypass switching preserves signal integrity when disengaged, while standard 9V DC operation draws minimal current from a dedicated power supply. A single knob controls output level, with the internal circuit set to a fixed gain stage that reacts dynamically to playing velocity and guitar volume. The compact die–cast enclosure houses germanium–style transistors that respond to temperature and input impedance, producing unpredictable harmonic bloom and compression artefacts.
