Use demanding VR programs by having a PC do the heavy lifting. PC VR titles can play wirelessly with a compatible Wi-Fi 5-6E router or wired using an optional USB-C cable. Note that a USB-C cable has a compressed signal with slightly diminished visuals, but the optional VIVE Wired Streaming Kit maintains the headset's crisp 5K resolution in DisplayPort Mode, with its converter and DisplayPort cable. In fact, the air intake of the VIVE Focus Vision is 30% greater than HTC's VIVE Focus 3. One of the most important aspects of using a VR headset is setting the proper IPD (Interpupillary Distance), which is the distance between the center of your eyes. The VIVE Focus Vision eliminates this manual task by using its built-in eye tracking technology to automatically set the IPD for you. The VIVE Focus Vision is capable of IPDs from 57 to 72 mm. The rear battery is hot-swappable, allowing you to extend your use of the VIVE Focus Vision almost indefinitely. Once you remove the battery, a battery at the front of the headset kicks in to keep the headset running for up to 20 minutes while you insert a new battery.
