It is laminated with anti-scratch High Pressure Lamination (HPL), and its top surface has a maple wood image. Both the top and bottom are covered with HPL to enhance durability and protection. The edges are made of solid beech wood and feature a shark-nose profile forimproved aesthetic appeal and better durability. All edges and corners are rounded in compliance with international safety standards. The solid beech wood edges are also coated with a protective varnish to ensure longevity. The HPL covers the solidbeech wood edges on both the top and bottom, preventing water and humidity from penetrating the MDF core.
