Wood hilt carved in naturalistic form with medial ridge and stylized floral form terminal. Iron base ferrule. 5 1/2" blade with deeply curved edge and high raised back, dropping to provide a thumb rest. Hilt with glossy patina over light linear texture from scraping the finish. Blade shows smooth chocolate patina with light original tool marks and a few small forging flaws as typical for Malay blades. Stunning form and eminently suitable for throat slashing. Show more
