All the Elementary Screwdriver sets come with a selection of flat head, Philips and Pozi bits as standard. Once you've started using a single handle with interchangeable bits you'll soon start looking for other types of fittings to work on. Torx head fittings have been around since the late 60's and are more commonly found on machinery and electronic goods. They are sometimes referred to a "star" fittings as they features a six pointed star shape designed to increase the surface area and reduce the likelihood of rounding the head. This is a metric set and consists of the following nine sizes; T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T35 and T40. I've found T27's are often left out of Torx sets and you often end up trying to use a T25 instead, with less than positive results. If you own a Harley Davidson motorcycle you'll know the importance of a T27. These are a universal fit and will work with a number of drivers including both our Dart and Cruz Custom Tools hex drivers.
