The Elevation EcoFlex Groundhog is an overstable, low speed, low glide putt and approach disc. Elevation designed the Groundhog to be Anti-Gyro, meaning it wants to drop out of the sky about 3/4 through the flight. Compared to MVP overmolds and Discmania's Q-Line, where the weight is on the outside, the Groundhog has more of its weight in the center. That makes it a disc you can rely on to drop down when you need it to, and combined with its overstable flight, a very predictable putter and approach disc. To top it all off, it is designed to be less tall than similar popular discs such as the Berg. Flight Characteristics The Groundhog flies overstable with low speed and low glide, and its Anti-Gyro design pulls it out of the sky about 3/4 of the way through the flight. That makes it a disc you can rely on to drop down when you need it to. Speed: 1 | Glide: 1 | Turn: 0 | Fade: 2 Features EcoFlex Plastic: A flexible material with a lot of grip. It can easily be bent by hand but mostly holds its shape (about 90%) on its own when held flat in the air by one side of the disc. More flexible than EcoFirm but less flexible than OG. Made from Vulcanized Natural Rubber with up to 30% recycled material made of scraps from the medical industry, things like rubber gloves. EcoFlex is still extremely durable even though it uses recycled materials, due to the flexible and strong nature of Vulcanized Natural Rubber. Anti-Gyro Design: The weight sits more in the center of the disc than on the outside, so it wants to drop out of the sky about 3/4 through the flight. Lower Profile: Designed to be less tall than similar popular discs such as the Berg. Who Is This Disc For? Players who want a very predictable putter and approach disc they can rely on to drop down when needed Players looking for a lower-profile alternative to similar popular putters like the Berg See all of our Elevation Groundhog discs here.
