This is a graphghan blanket crochet pattern inspired by the movie Elf. It is not a finished blanket or physical product. I do not make or sell the finished blanket. There are 10 of
ficial panels and 5 bonus panels in this fun Christmas blanket inspired by the movie Elf. There are 3 digital files included with purchase. One contains FAQs, one contains PDF graphs, and the 3rd contains applique patterns. Applique patterns are written out but the blanket pattern itself is only available in graph form. STYLE I used a mini C2C (corner to corner) stitch to create my blanket but many other stitches can be used when completing graphs including SC, DC, and Bobble Stitch. HOOK AND GAUGE I used a worsted weight yarn and a 5mm (H) hook. My 25x25 panels measure approximately 12 inches across using the mini c2c stitch. However, everyone’s panels may vary depending on the stitch you choose, hook size, yarn, and personal tension. SIZE I cannot predict the size of your finished blanket or the yardage needed to complete the project. Every person’s blanket will vary greatly depending on stitch choice, hook, yarn, personal tension, and whether or not they choose to make the bonus panels. My finished blanket measures approximately 52 x 40 inches. COLORS AND LEGEND Legends will include general colors like “light blue, dark blue” etc. This way you have the freedom to choose the brand of your liking or pull from your personal stash. However, I also provide a list of the specific yarns I used. I do not provide an estimate of the yardage needed as everyone’s blanket will need different amounts of yarn depending on the stitch, hook, yarn, and personal tension.
