This is another one close to my heart called the Elijah’s cave. I’m not a pro at this but I know what inspires me. From real life inspiration of the shape of Elijah’s cave. I also killed the juniper tree of its leaves to showcase that there’s no real shelter in our self pity. The rough clouds depict the spiritual warfare that was going on during his times. Not every depression is a depression, it is a war to slow you down. We all have our moments of staying under but we don’t remain there. I tried to paint the 40 days journey of Elijah through this one image. The dark mountain depict that the path is most dark and harsh before you get up the mountain of God. But it’s worth all of those moments. What else can you see? PRODUCT DIMENSIONS Painting - 44.5" width X 30" height
