Fermented with wild yeasts and given 14 days of skin maceration with frequent cap punch-downs, this Barbera sees full malolactic fermentation before maturing for around 24 months i n French barriques (25% new, 75% second-year). Bottled without filtration and rested for 6–9 months before release, it’s a wine of depth and polish. In the glass, it delivers a plush, smooth palate of black cherries and ripe blueberries, layered with hints of cocoa, sweet spice and a gentle savoury edge from its time in oak.
