Ellis spent his youth at Tewkesbury RFC captaining for almost 5 years! He played at Gloucester Academy for the development squad and then went on to play for the county u16’s. He t hen moved on to Smiths RFC, his father’s old rugby club where he was able to experience the highest coaching level from 3 top level coaches, exposing him to good drills that he has now taken further to help the pupils better themselves at rugby.
