Even on pieces with a matte finish, don't worry about food or oil absorbing into the surface, it all comes right out in the dishwasher! The clay is fully vitrified but the matte finish of the clay will temporarily absorb water. Don’t stress, it will quickly air dry! This platter will elevate your dining experience and daily rituals by making foods' colors and textures pop in contrast with its unique finish.Each piece is food safe + dishwasher safe; and while our wares are microwave safe, we recommend limiting their use in the microwave as it weakens them over time.
