Elphabet Elegance GP-298 The inspiration for Elphabet Elegance came simply from my desire to create a fancy alphabet sampler. It’s been in my head for many years! Let’s just say it finally came out! The beauty of this sampler is that it is stitched entirely in Sulky Petite Cotton Blendables, which means the thread is variegated in color and creates a beautiful yet subtle color change throughout each letter as you stitch. Just be sure to stitch the entire stitch before moving on to the next. Finish it off with five colors of complimentary beads and you’ll have an heirloom piece that you will cherish forever. Simple, yet elegant. General Information: Stitched with Sulky 12 Wt. Cotton Petites Thread. When stitching with this 12 wt. cotton thread, you only use 1 thread of floss over 2 threads of fabric. A total of 9 colors of Sulky, 1 color of Sullivans floss and 5 colors of Mill Hill Beads were used in the model. Sullivans/DMC/and Anchor comparable colors are provided. However, it is very important to keep in mind that Sulky Blendables are variegated in color. Although color comparables are provided in other floss lines (Sullivans/DMC/and Anchor), these are “best match” alternatives and in the case of Sullivans and Anchor, are not variegated.
