ELSEWHERE I, 2025 Handbuilt ceramic sculpture This sculpture captures a moment of imbalance, a form that appears to lean, turn, or pause mid-movement. Its opening is not centered o r frontal, but angled, asking the viewer to adjust their position in order to fully understand the form. Shaped intuitively in ceramic, Elsewhere I developed without a predetermined outcome. The form emerged gradually through touch and response, allowing asymmetry, tension, and direction to guide the process rather than control it. By inviting the viewer to move around the object and look from unfamiliar angles, Elsewhere II reflects on how perspective is shaped by where we stand — and how even a small shift can change what we see.
