Once our Embrite™ material is cast into the molds, the finished part is hand sanded to eliminate any rough edges and non-uniformities (note that the toy bricks are not perfect as they are injection molded). The lanyard hole is then drilled through the brick, and then all outside surfaces are soda blasted to provide a uniform finish around all exposed surfaces. Since this entire process is all done by hand, you may see slight variations in the final product finish, but they will not effect the glow appearance or performance in any way.
