The Mount Vernon Calendar Sampler Embroidery Kit celebrates the timeless tradition of samplers, once stitched by young girls to practice and proudly display their needlework skills . In earlier generations, these embroidered works often featured alphabets, verses, and decorative motifs passed down through families, preserving both craft and heritage. This modern kit revives that tradition while honoring the historic landscape of George Washington's Mount Vernon. The design features seasonal imagery inspired by Mount Vernon throughout the year, encouraging stitchers of all ages to connect with American history through embroidery.
