The name "White-eye" comes from the characteristic white rings around its eyes. They are about 33 cm long, have a white belly, and a yellowish throat and body color, some mistake i t for a bush warbler. It likes flower nectar and often flays to gardens. Used to be a popular pet, as it sings beautifully.
