Soie d'alger 'au ver à soie de Paris' is a 6 strand filament silk that is smooth, soft, and lustrous. Comes in a 5m skein. It is made of the best qualities of raw silk which give i t an unrivalled brightness and softness. This thread does not snarl in the needle and has a good tensile strength. Dyed in skeins to guarantee an homogeneous colour and it resists also very well to abrasion. It is considered as a reference thread in all needlework activities.
