Product Overview EMCoat is a water-based, electrically conductive shielding paint that delivers broadband RF attenuation for interior applications. The fast-drying, non-toxic, water-soluble formula applies with standard painting equipment and can be over-coated with regular dispersion paints or architectural finishes for a seamless appearance — making it suitable for offices, meeting rooms, data centres and medical-device rooms where shielding has to stay invisible. Key Features Water-based, non-toxic and easy to clean up — no harsh solvents Suitable for drywall, wood, metal and concrete substrates Quick to install — saves time and cost compared with metal sheet or foil shielding Coverage up to 140 sq ft per gallon (approx. 12.9 m² per 3.78 L) Standard flat grey finish, over-paintable with conventional dispersion paint Application by roller, sprayer or brush 55+ dB shielding effectiveness across all three sub-formulations Technical Specifications Product Variants Product Coverage (sq ft/gal) Shielding Application Durability Location EMCoat S 200 55+ dB Sprayer High Indoor EMCoat R 165 55+ dB Roll / Brush High Indoor EMCoat HD 185 55+ dB Roll / Brush Superior Outdoor / Indoor Finish and Substrates Base: Water-based, non-toxic, water-soluble Standard finish: Flat grey — over-paintable with conventional dispersion paints Substrates: Drywall, wood, metal, concrete Application methods: Roller, sprayer or brush Import status: ITAR restricted — US Government authorisation required before import Applications Conference and boardroom RF shielding for sensitive discussions Data centre and server room electromagnetic interference control Medical-device rooms requiring controlled EMI environments Secure communications rooms and SCIF construction Offices, clinics and meeting rooms requiring an invisible shielding layer Retrofit shielding of existing rooms without removing or replacing wall panels Technical Documents Data Sheet | Case Study — Cost | Case Study — Challenging Surfaces | Install Guide | SDS
