Nate Nettleton is a visual artist exploring possibility, progress, and the importance of simplicity through abstract sculpture. Nates artworks are held in public and private collections across Canada, the United States, and the UK. BIG COLOR is a series of artworks that explores Pantones “color of the year” concept by pairing each “color of the year” with its exact opposite color in a circular gradient. Beginning in the year 2000, Pantone began naming a “color of the year”. A color chosen based on many global factors, that is meant to encompass an overall feeling for the year ahead. A collection of artworks that considers the power of color, our associations to color, and influence within the world of color, while symbolizing the idea of endless possibility.
