BIG COLOR is a series of artworks that explores Pantones “color of the year” concept by pairing each “color of the year” with its exact opposite color in a circular gradient. Beginning in the year 2000, Pantone began naming a “color of the year”. A color chosen based on many global factors, that is meant to encompass an overall feeling for the year ahead. A collection of artworks that considers the power of color, our associations to color, and influence within the world of color, while symbolizing the idea of endless possibility.
