11cm x 11cm x 21cm Roughness of the clay represents different obstacles I face in life. I have tried to overcome the obstacles with gusto. This series of ten art pieces are done wi th the pinching technique, a technique I have been trying to refine and improve. The same way that I have tried to ‘refine’ myself to face and overcome obstacles in life. The finished products, however, speak of my burgeoning success in creating functional art pieces despite their rough texture. It is metamorphosis, an emergence from my past to create something beautiful. Show more
