Vase 11cm x 11cm x 19cm Roughness of the clay represents different obstacles I face in life. I have tried to overcome the obstacles with gusto. This series of ten art pieces are do ne with the pinching technique, a technique I have been trying to refine and improve. The same way that I have tried to ‘refine’ myself to face and overcome obstacles in life. The finished products, however, speak of my burgeoning success in creating functional art pieces despite their rough texture.
