'Emergence' is from the collection 'Spring Awakes', a series of paintings exploring when the dark, dreary days of winter fade, and the first warmth of sunlight touches the trees an d glistens on the water, you know change is coming. Emergence is all about the subtle changes seen as the buds form with the promise of colour to come. It pairs well with others in the collection and was inspired by many of the smaller pieces.
