CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the Emergency Bleed Kit holds enough brake fluid to completely fill two brake levers and we’ve used specialty o-rings to ensure it’s compatible with both DOT and mineral oil (though you should absolutely not switch between the two!) The M5 connector is the same type you’ll find on your home bleed kit and is compatible with both Shimano* and SRAM brake levers**. The kit includes H2.5 and T10 keys so you’ll have the tools on hand to crack into your brakes’ bleed port. *Adapter needed for Shimano road disc brakes**Except for SRAM’s DB8 and Maven mineral oil brakes, which use a different thread. To use the bleed kit, just fill with your preferred brake fluid and throw it in your riding grab-bag. When you feel your brakes start to get a bit squishy you can simply screw the bottle into your brake lever’s bleed port, unscrew the top cap and give your lever a few flicks until the air stops bubbling through.
