Emergency First Aid at Work Course in Wolverhampton The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course qualifies delegates to act as an emergency first aider in the workplace. It is the appropriate level of training where a workplace first aid needs assessment identifies a lower-risk environment. Course Duration 1 day Course Content The role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider Assessing an incident and managing an unresponsive casualty CPR and safe use of an AED Choking, shock and seizures Bleeding, minor injuries and burns Recording and reporting Assessment and Certification Assessment is continuous throughout the day, with practical demonstrations and written questions.
