“Emerging” is the very FIRST painting I created as an adult in 2011, a raw, vulnerable beginning that opened the door to everything that followed. Encouraged by a friend to paint, I picked up a Level 3 canvas and let the colors flow during a season of huge life transitions. Looking at the finished work, I saw a figure rising from water, symbolizing my own emergence as both an artist and entrepreneur. There were no words beneath this one, just pure expression.
