The nature of this particular hide is to reveal natural scars, wire marks, etc. None of these characteristics should be considered a defect. They tell the story of the cow's life, and give this bag a very rustic, distressed leather feel. Important: The leather drawstrings may shed with use. This is temporary. This is a very typical and normal process of breaking in bridle leather. *Glue may be seen under/between seams. This will wear away in time.
