The EMG 3 Way Solderless Toggle (B289V) is a pre-wired three-position toggle switch, styled after the classic Les Paul selector, for use with EMG's solderless active pickup wiring system. It carries the standard three-position pickup selection (bridge, both, neck) on a plug-in connector that drops directly onto the EMG quick-connect harness without soldering. The B289V sits alongside the two SL blade-format switches (Strat 3-Position and Tele 3-Position) in the EMG solderless switch shelf. Where the SL blades are cut for Fender-format instruments with a pickguard-mounted switch, this toggle is intended for guitars in the Les Paul, SG, Explorer or offset-body traditions whose cavity is routed for a Switchcraft-style three-way toggle. The B289V housing is the standard EMG-branded toggle body used across the solderless range and fits any control cavity already cut for a full-size toggle. Compatible with the full EMG solderless wiring platform, both 25K active harnesses (81, 60, 85 and the wider active humbucker family) and 250K HZ passive harnesses (GZR PHZ, 35HZ, the passive Marty Friedman set and the rest of the HZ shelf).
