The EMG 45TW is a versatile bass pickup that combines the best of both single-coil and humbucker tones in one unit. Featuring EMG's renowned preamp, this pickup offers two distinct sounds: the JCS single-coil mode, built with ceramic and steel magnets for a rich, warm tone, and the CS humbucker mode, which delivers a big, aggressive sound with a pronounced mid-range. A push/pull volume (or tone) pot allows you to switch seamlessly between these modes, providing a wide range of tonal options. Ideal for 6-string basses, the 45TW's extended housing ensures a perfect fit, and the solderless Quik-Connect system makes installation straightforward and hassle-free. Show more
