I grew up in Waukesha, WI. I went to the neighborhood public schools in Waukesha while growing up and then decided to get my Bachelors in Elementary Education Carroll College (now University). I received that and then a few years later I went to get my masters in Reading at UW-Whitewater. I have experience in working with children with autism at their homes and with learning disabilities in the schools. I have taught students in small groups and large groups. I taught online through COVID. I am homeschooling my daughter with autism (she is a non-speaker AND VERY SMART), since my background in teaching lends me to do that so well, I thought I would have other children benefit as well. I enjoy reading, spending time with my kids, watching my son play Lacrosse and my daughter swim.
