Bio: Emily is a Medical Qigong healer and teacher. By blending her intuitive gifts with a solid academic foundation, she offers a unique and grounded perspective to these ancient healing arts. Medical Qigong is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines holistic therapies such as movement and meditation to support the healthy flow of Qi. Qigong, which translates to ‘energy work,’ is the term for meditative movements used as a prescription of Medical Qigong to move and build Qi in the body. Medical Qigong Healing Session ($200): An in-person energy healing session provides a safe environment for you to unpack any topic of your choice. This can include but is not limited to physical ailments, mental or emotional challenges, past traumas, romance, goals, and aspirations. Emily will ask powerful questions to better understand the areas you would like to focus on. After your initial discussion, the energy work will begin. You’ll relax face up on a massage table fully clothed. Throughout the session, Emily will interact with your Qi (energy), whether it’s moving stagnant Qi, purging toxic Qi, or soothing Qi, etc. The experience is different for everyone, but most people describe energy work as deeply therapeutic. The session concludes with a debriefing. Emily will share information from the energy work and prescribe take-home Qigong-based exercises (i.e., Qigong movements, meditations, mantras, food, theories, etc.) to promote continual growth and healing until the next session. All healing sessions with Emily aim to empower and transform.
