Recommended needles: Size 3.5 and 4.0 mm / US 4 and 6 Procedure: The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are cast on using the provisional crochet cast-on method to allow adjusting the size of the neck opening after finishing the project. Short rows are worked across the shoulders and back of the neck to make the back of the neck higher. The yoke is worked with increases. The yoke stitches are then divided into sleeves and body, which are finished separately. Increases are made on the body both at the front and the back to make the sweater wider at the bottom.
