Kids today are the leaders of tomorrow. Have you noticed that every generation of social activists seems to start a little earlier than the last? Children are naturally thoughtful, empathetic and bursting with idealism. They also love hearing stories of other young people who have turned their idealism to action. Fortunately, through social media, there is no shortage of youth activists for our littles to look up to. Emma González is one such activist. One of the survivors of the Parkland school shooting, they have become an eloquent and outspoken advocate for gun control. They were named one of Time's 100 Most Influential people in 2018, when still a teenager.
