The Darknita art series contains all my deep and emotional works. As you know, my art is an outlet for my emotions. My joy and happiness always appear on my art... But there cannot be light without darkness, so my negative emotions and fears also pour down my paintings. And it's a good thing, because they are out my head and they cannot affect me any more. This series of self portraits convey my emotions and how I see myself when I feel them. They were made using a monochrome palette using pencils and watercolors over a gessoed surface with a lot of texture. Each painting has a unique and powerful quality to it, I really liked how with so little I could express so much on a little artwork. Show more
