From the Nantou area in central Taiwan, this tea is grown at an elevation between 1000-1200m with mild temper atures and lots of rain. It is a leafhopper bitten tea. The plant defends itself. The many steps in shaking, resting, and stop and go firing produces complexity in this tea. One of the staff favorites! Ingredients: Oolong tea from Nantou, Taiwan Brewing Instructions Use 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water. Bring water to 205° F. Pour over leaves; steep for 1 minute. Remove leaves from tea. Enjoy! Reinfuse 3-4 times, increasing time by 50% each infusion. Show more
