Inspired by a night of cocktail carousing in New York City, this is the High Octane from Employees Only: a spiced, rum-based mashup of a Manhattan an Old Fashioned, served over big ice. I really enjoyed trying to capture the beautiful burnished bartop with this painting, as well as the warm and complicated reflection of light. This fine art watercolor print is a limited edition - only 150 will ever be made - and is printed using the Giclée printing technique on thick, high quality Somerset Velvet paper.
