The Empress Effects Multidrive Pedal takes the idea of amp-blending to a whole new level - and one that's incredibly easy to use. Rather than bogging your pedalboard down with sep arate distortion, overdrive, and fuzz pedals, you can simply use this Multidrive for all three, and blend each tone together into one that works for you. You can run Fuzz, Overdrive and Distortion in parallel rather than stacking - you can hear each beautifully AND they're totally blendable. What before was only possible with several rigs in the studio can now be achieved live! Besides individual Gain and Volume controls for each channel, they all have their own three-way hi-pass/lo-pass filter switches, while the Distortion control has its own three-way type selector of Crunch, Mild, and Lead. It's also got shared EQ controls for high, mid, and low, and an output control, as well as a Mid Frequency switch, between 500/200/5k. It even has two built-in preset combinations that can be accessed by pressing the Select button. With a small enclosure, true bypass, top notch build and the great ability to run things in parallel, the Empress Effects Multidrive Pedal is a ridiculously versatile combination pedal that's a must-have.
