Empty Basin is a wonderful shou brick created by Master Lü Lizhen. It uses a blend of various leaf grades from Yiwu Mountain. He has a special relationship to the region, working w ith farmers there for decades. This brick is tightly compressed, so you will need a puerh knife to open it up. A little goes a long way. The tea is thick, rich and creamy with a deep and long-lasting flavor. The piling flavors are mild and will smooth out over time if you age some of these cakes. The Qi is soft and grounding.
