The Crab - Multi-Input Audio Adapter without Telephone (Mic Level Output) The Model EJ-8 is a multi-input adapter that accepts multiple line level inputs from a wide variety of audio/ video devices for input into an existing PA or music system,while providing the necessary matching and isolation for protecting the system. The EJ-8 also acts as a mixer when accepting signals from more than one source at the same time. The EJ-8 is similar to the EJ-10 except it does not have telephone line capability. Without the telephone line capability, the output signal from the EJ-8 is 22dB higher than the EJ-10. It also has a wider frequency range (20-20K Hz), and a more affordable price for those who do not need to have the telephone capability. The EJ-8 comes with everything required to connect virtually any audio source to the microphone input of an existing sound system. The EJ-8 is a completely passive device, no batteries or external power sources are required for operation. The EJ-8 features a volume control, phone and phono jacks, binding posts, and a hum switch. An assortment of interconnect cables and a nylon carrying case come attached to the EJ-8.
