This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own kiln-fired enamelled Christmas decorations. During this workshop you'll learn how to create and apply a design using powder enamel on metal shaped blanks. You'll be given 1 of each design (3 shapes total) to decorate, learning how to prepare and clean your copper sheet before applying any enamel. A variety of application techniques will be taught, then giving you complete creative play throughout the remainder of this full day session. We'll have an hour to break for lunch at around 12.30pm. Feel free to bring your own packed lunch. There's a Co-op in the village along with some cafes where you can sit in or take away too. You'll be provided with everything you need to make x3 enamel decorations During this workshop refreshments including festive treats will be provided. Places on this workshop are limited to eight people as we'll be sharing a kiln and this allows individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist and oversee each project.
