An earthy vessel for your most beloved beverages. Ideal for the right-handed drinker. This mug emerged from a ball of rich, golden stoneware clay that was thrown on the pottery whe el. Once firm enough to work, it was trimmed and joined with a hand-sculpted, serpent handle. The serpents eyes are genuine Australian opals that bathed in the healing light of the full moon. After slowly drying it was fired in the kiln, coated in a glossy glaze and fired again. The serpent symbolizes surrender, release, death and rebirth. In order to survive, serpents must routinely shed what keeps them from growing and no longer serves.
