Warsenal - Endless Beginnings... [CD] “Endless Beginnings…” is a metaphorical concept album. It takes place in a world ruled by an elite society known as the Morrow Reapers. They l ive above the rest of the planet in a floating city called the Flying Fortress. The fortress is so massive that it blocks out the sun, plunging the rest of the world into eternal darkness. Because of this, the people living below are known as the Dusk Dwellers. To ensure that the Dusk Dwellers remain obedient and do not rebel, the Morrow Reapers maintain a propaganda division called the Ministry of Numbing. This ministry uses the four elements to keep the population in a state of emotional suppression. Earth represents religion. Fire symbolizes addiction in all its forms. Water is the blood — the liquid hope flowing through the veins of every Dusk Dweller, the hope that they might improve their lives and ascend to the Flying Fortress. Air is the wind leaving their lungs, the hard labor they perform every day to keep the Flying Fortress afloat, every breath they exhale to ensure it continues hovering so they might be noticed and perhaps one day offered a place above. An offer that, of course, will never come. But one day, despite the propaganda of the Ministry of Numbing, the people have had enough and decide to rebel against their oppressors.
