Many manufactures ran all the amperage thru the switch which creates a voltage drop slowing the actuator and making it weak. This kit when installed gets voltage from the battery a nd only uses the switch to trigger the relays allowing more voltage to go to the actuator. This kit is easy to install, a few connectors, a fuse or breaker, and maybe a little wire and your actuator will act like brand new. The case is waterproof so water is not an issue. This is a 12 volt system rated for 40 amps. The wiring is very simple, 6 wires and mount it.
