The fire trucks of Sister Bay Liberty Grove Fire Department are more than machines - they are part of the rhythm of the town. From the sirens responding to a call to the slow roll down Highway 42 for the Fall Fest parade, those engines always turn heads. With Engine Line, I wanted to capture that feeling: the bright red body, the flash of gold trim, the streaks of white and black hoses and ladders all in motion. I used a faster pull on this piece: tight, deliberate lines meant to mimic momentum, like light bouncing off metal as the trucks cruise past. It’s not about fire. It’s about pride. It’s about speed.
