Pholidichthys leucotaenia Reef Safe The Engineer Goby is a unique marine fish that displays bold horizontal stripes in black or deep blue over a white base, while adults develop ve rtical banding as they mature. This species prefers a sandy substrate where it can dig and create tunnels, making a 50 gallon or larger aquarium ideal. It thrives in peaceful environments with plenty of rockwork and hiding spots, and tends to do best when introduced as a pair or small group at the same time. To keep them healthy and active, offer a protein-rich diet that includes mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood, feeding them at least twice per day.
