These pedals are compatible with Engl amps and they will replace the original Z4. You'll need a Stereo 1/4 cable to run the pedal to your amp. The Chkn Switch "Quad" model includes 4 toggles/footswitch, so you'll need two Stereo 1/4 cables to go to your amp. Depending on the amp model, you'll get different features available on the footswitch. Please check that your ENGL amp is compatible with the Z4 before ordering.
