Course Description+ English 4 students will study the masterworks of British literature from the Anglo-Saxon period to the contemporary era. This course also includes intensive work on composition, including literary analysis and criticism and other expository forms. The required research paper assignment provides practice in research methods and documentation, MLA compliance, self-expression, and organization skills.Prerequisite: Successful completion of previous grade level EnglishThis 6-week course is offered for first time credit, for credit grade replacement, or for non-credit enrichment in preparation for taking the course in the future. Please check with your school regarding credit from outside institutions.
