Like all Quinacridone pigments, Quinacridone Red has an extremely high tinting strength and is great for extending with plenty of wax medium to reveal the bluish red undertones. A great alternative to the warmer reds, such as Napthol and Pyrrole when a cooler mixing palette is desired and more vibrant than Alizarin.
